Anecdotal Observation Form This Rubric will grade an anecdotal observation form and it's effective use in the observation of the children selected by students in the ECE 2 Principles and Practices of Teaching Young Children

Information: Major points for clarity, structure and effective format and design;	5 Points The information gathered through the use of the form, clearly displays its creator's understanding of the purpose of observations as an assessment tool.
Observation/Mechanics The observation form reflects it's creator's knowledge of function and form.	5 Points The form provides room for the: location, date, day and time of the observation; the child's name, DOB, the reason for the observation, and the needed space for data gathering and observer comment.
Technology/aesthetics: Professional look: specific, identified usage of text, lines and/or bullets. Usage of the final product worked efficiently, and was tested through the observation of a child by it's creator.	5 Points The completed observation of a child, exceeds expectation. The effort that was put into this assignment is the best that can be done by this student.
