Cattle Breed Project Swine Breed Project Students will research 1 distinct cattle breed and prepare a fact sheet to share information to the class. Students should focus on information that sets their breed apart from other cattle breeds and what makes that breed a distinct breed. Students will also create a 3-D model of the cattle breed. Fact Sheet Content 5 pts Required Information: Origin, Characteristics, Size and Uses.	Unsatisfactory Fact sheet is lacking in more than two elements required. There are many gaps in information presented.	Fair Fact sheet is missing up to two required elements or information is disorganized.	Satisfactory Fact Sheet includes all required information; information is organized. Uses adequate detail.	Exemplary The fact sheet includes all information required to the topic in an organized fashion. In addition the fact sheet includes additional information or uses exceptional detail.
Visual Aid 5 pts 3-D Cattle Model must represent the swine breed.	Unsatisfactory Model is incomplete or does not represent the cattle breed (wrong color) or the model is a 'hot mess'.	Fair The model does not adequately represent the cattle breed (i.e. wrong color shade or pattern) or the model is very messy and not at all solidly constructed.	Satisfactory The Model correctly represents the cattle breed. The model was not constructed solidly or is not neat in visual appearance.	Exemplary The Model correctly represents the cattle breed. The model was constructed solidly and is neat in visual appearance.
