Historical Atomic Model
Students individually develop a "3D-Model" that acts as a workable/accurate model to demonstrate one of the six historical atomic models . The model should be detailed enough to provide a functional understanding of type of structures and related concepts for the chosen historical atom. Workability of the model should allow for educational understanding of the concepts and key-terms associated with atom.

30 %

Poor

Does not express the concepts or key-terms associated with atomic structure for model constructed.

Did not include the scientist and model name
Good

Details constructed or provided express to the audience some concepts and key-terms associated with most of the six atomic models.

Proper Scientist name and model name shown.
Excellent

Details within the model express to the audience a full understanding of concepts and key-terms associated with each of the six atomic models.

Proper Scientist name and model name shown. Listed any additional scientist who may have had a part in the development of chosen model.
Accuracy
50 %

Poor

Many inaccurate concepts and key-terms regarding atomic model.
Good

Model demonstrates proper structures for model to include the relevant names, particles and locations discovered for each specific model.

Lacked the correct information to define the correct atomic development.
Excellent

Correct use and definition of concepts and key-terms for conveying a proper workable model along with depicting the atomic structure and scientific understanding that developed at that time.
