States of Matter Movie iMOVIE PRESENTATION Student is to create a Movie presentation based on States of Matter using water as the matter. Students will be asked to produce a 5-7 minute movie. Movie presentation is to include accurate information and be creative. Information must be in depth; students will give reference all information taken from other sources - NO PLAGIARISM. Story Board	Poor General outline, very little detail	Fair A limited sequence of events. Confusion over what is happening and how the events link together.	Good A clear outline of sequences that are happening within the movie. Scientifically accurate. Attention to most details.	Excellent A highly detailed and well thought out sequence of events. The States of matter are represented in an informative but also creative way.
Script	Poor Information was inaccurate, off topic and no citation of references, or listing of sources to the presentation existed.	Fair Information was limited and at times inaccurate, topic was unclear at times, some sources were cited.	Good Information was good, and very accurate. All sources cited at the end of movie.	Excellent Accurate and in depth, accurate information; accurate pictures; amount of information is abundant; proper noting of ALL sources in at the end of movie. Movie was very informative and creative.
Movie	Poor Movie appears to be incomplete.	Fair Limited range of effects. It appears to be an interview rather than a creative movie.	Good A good movie that uses a range of different props, characters and effects.	Excellent Put together smoothly and creatively; images are clear; utilizes text, transitions, special effects, music and sound effects to enhance audience’s understanding.
