iRubric: Annotated Bibliography rubric

All important information was described well, why study was conducted, where, methods, results, and application.
Brief reflection of how the reference relates to other references included in the bibliography (How does this reference challenge, corroborate, complicate, etc. other references cited in the bibliography?)

Aspects of summary included but some of the important information was missing.
Some annotations merely summarize the source.
Brief summary and assessment of the reference (type of research, participants, major findings, quality and rigor of the reference, etc.)

Inadequate description of study, how study was undertaken, results of study & recommendations or applications to present research or your interest area.

A critical reflection was included for each article. The reflections included appropriate connections the writer made to his/her language teaching experience.

A reflection was included in all annotations. Some of the reflections lacked depth of personal connection.

A reflection was included in some, but not all of the annotations. Did not include a connect to practice or accurately depict the source's usefulness for educators.
