Paper contains relevant compelling information on the artist. Content is based on research information. Content includes thorough, detailed history and background, how studio art has transformed the artist's life, and how his creative work has contributed to society as a whole. Content is substantiated with specific evidence.
Very Good B+ B B-

Paper contains information relevant to the artist. Content includes history and background of the artist, how studio art has transformed the artist's life, and how the work has impacted society. General information is used as content support.
Basic C+ C

Paper contains minimal history and background relevant to the artist. Literal description of artist's studio art. Does not address artist's impact on society. Research is evident, but more material is needed. Content does not include details.
Unsatisfactory C-

Paper does not contain relevant information.
The artist is addressed but not discussed or elaborated on.
