The purpose of this rubric is to give students the expectations for writing about if they were the ruler of the world and the things they would banish.

Essay Structure	Excellent - 4 Student has included an introduction, at least clear body paragraphs, and a conclusion in the essay. There is cohesion in the essay and all the points make sense. There are no (or very few) grammar mistakes, and they do not take away from the overall essay.	Good - 3 Essay reflects 4 paragraphs but is missing one of the following: introduction, two body paragraphs, or conclusion. Cohesion is mostly present throughout the essay.
