Not intended for use in evaluating all ePortfolios. This was created as part two of an assignment. Part one involved creating an ePortfolio based on work completed in the particular course. Part two involved creating this rubric to evaluate the specific ePortfolio. The categories and rankings were provided by the instructor. Students had to provide a detailed description of what is needed to score in each category.

This rubric is an assessment of a beginning number sense unit in a Kindergarten classroom. It focuses on students' understanding, representation, and communication of solving number stories.

The purpose of this unit is to facilitate student learning about the community in which we live. The student will create a project to present their community. The student will use technology to conduct internet research in order to be able to present facts about their community's resources, culture, government, religion, geography, political atmosphere, social events, recreational pastimes, history, economics, etc. After the student has gathered all of the research, they will synthesize the information and develop a presentation about their country.

Students are creating a vignette that tells of a significant moment or person in their lives.

Student would choose one theme from the novel and write a 5-paragraph essay about that theme in relationship to the book.

Students will write, perform, record, and edit a five minute skit that depicts the Abraham Lincoln in regards to the Emancipation Proclamation or the Gettysburg Address and the significance he played in them.

After reading non-ficitons books about landforms and bodies of water, books were created following specific criteria.

Students are to sort their drawing of puppy pictures into two groups. Name these groups. Then divide each group into smaller sections. Name each section. Record the information on the Sort Report form.Students look at various attributes like colors of puppies, patterns on fur, sitting or standing puppies, long or short ears, dogs with toys, puppies with tongues out or in mouth, etc.

Rubric for problem solving tasks in Kindergarten Math

After modeling, demonstration and practice the student will be able to recognize the number, write the number and draw pictures representing the value of the number with 85% - 100% accuracy as determined through teacher observation and completion of an assignment.
