Create a Google slides show which focuses on an inventor from the 1800's to modern day which indicates: (1) what the invention was (2) who invented it (3)images of the invention and inventor (4) facts about the the invention/inventor and (5) a Visual representation. This project will be graded as a project grade.

A CER presentation mixtures. Student project must define in detail a mixture, and a solution. Evidence must be based on classroom investigations, videos, and Stemscopes.

What makes a good paragraph?

Choose the theme that best describes the authors message. Provide evidence from the text.

Write a short analysis of one character and interpret how the character fits into the theme of the novel. Students will have a visual interpretation, a character study and personality traits graphic organizer, and a summary of at least one theme from the book. Use evidence throughout this project to support the overall character study. The project is 4 separate pages produced using Prezi, Presentation, Emaze, or any presentation application approved by the teacher.

Upon completion of reading a historical fictional story, readers will show their understanding of historical fiction by creating their own historical fiction story after researching an event or person of history.

Pretend Nothing But The Truth has been made into a movie. Create a POSTER to advertise the "movie". Your poster should be easy to read. Be creative, colorful, include a title, pictures, movie times, and movie rating. Do NOT copy the Book's cover. Also avoid sloppy illustrations and lettering. Your poster should not have white space---unless it is a part of the picture, a uniform, whites of people's eyes etc......

Each member of the group will be graded based on their participation and cooperation contributed to the Project Adventure/Ropes Course group activities. In the boxes provided, write the name of each group member in the box that best describes his or her ability to work successfully in the group - from your POV only. Grade each member of your group for each category (4).

Students will use weekly reading log to record time spent in the independent reading station. This log will reflect both reading comprehension growth and vocabulary skills.
