Story	Poor The story is not very creative AND doesn't flow very smoothly; it is obvious that not much effort/thought was put into story.	Fair The story is creative, but doesn't flow smoothly-- OR-- The story flows smoothly, but is not very creative. Some thought/effort was put into it, but obviously there could have been more.	Excellent The story is creative AND flows smoothly; it is obviously well thought out and a great effort was put into it.
Vocabulary Focus of Rubric
	Poor 1 pts	Almost Good 2 pts	Good/Fair 3 pts
Vocab Usage	Poor Vocabulary words were used totally incorrectly in sentence/story. It is obvious that the group did not understand the meaning of the word.	Almost Good Vocabulary words were used somewhat correctly in sentence/story, BUT knowledge of meaning is unclear, OR an incorrect form of word was used.	Good/Fair Vocabulary words were used correctly in sentence/story, BUT sentence wording does NOT prove knowledge of word meaning.
