T.V. Commercial Project

Students will create a commercial advertisement promoting their company's product or service. The commercial must include the following: theme or tagline, logo, what the product or service is, and why they are the best choice.

Facts	Distinguished (91-100%) Commercial includes all information relevant to the company's product or service. Phrase or tagline has all of the following: relates directly to product; doesn't have any offensive language; unique; encourages the reader to purchase the product or service right away!	Proficient (76-90%) Commercial includes all relevant information; however, it does not utilize the resources and/or is not well-organized. Phrase or tagline has 3 of the following: relates directly to product; doesn't have any offensive language; unique, easily remembered; encourages the reader to purchase the product or service right away!	Basic (60-75%) Commercial does not have all of the relevant information of the company's product or service. Sources and information are not used in an effective manner, or there is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized manner.	Unsatisfactory (0-59%)
Creativity/ Organization	Distinguished (91-100%) The student product had content related to the topic as well as supplemental information relating to people and places. The ad flowed and was viewer pleasing. Very easy to see what group the commercial was targeting.	Proficient (76-90%) The student had content related to the topic with no supplemental information relating to people or places. The ad flowed and was viewer pleasing. The viewer could figure out what group was being targeted.	Basic (60-75%) The student had minimal content related to the topic. The ad was hard to follow.
