Survival Guide: Group Video Presentation Rubric
The students will put together a poster, powerpoint, collage or video to show during their oral presentation. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding intelligence. The group presentation must be aligned with the assigned topic and objectives and will last in duration at least 15 minutes.

The work was done with good effort that shows what the students are capable of. It is evident that the group put effort into the presentation.
Fair
Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the group is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.
Poor
Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the students are capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.
Style/Mechanics
Excellent
The presentation has great creativity and style, and is not just a list of facts or reading of information. Viewers were Wowed.
Good
The presentation is clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. Good, clear presentation, but lacks some creativity or clarity.
Fair
The presentation lacks style and creativity; presents adequate information but in a way that does not WOW the viewer.
Poor
The presentation lacks a clear understanding of the subject matter and has many errors or leaves out vital information.

Excellent
The students speak clearly and the audience can tell that the group understands and knows the information. It is evident that the group practiced what would be said/done.
Good
The students speak clearly and present the information expected. Video is adequate.
Fair
There are several confusing moments and the information presented is not completely shared during the presentation. It is obvious the group did not rehearse much prior to taping.
Poor
No preparation was done for the presentation and the information that is presented lacks much of what is expected.
Teamwork
Excellent
The team has worked well together. Responsibilities were shared and disagreements were handled well.
Good
The group worked well as a team overall, and most decisions and responsibilities were shared.
Fair
The team did work together, but had difficulty sharing responsibilities. Disagreements were not resolved and the group argued often.
Poor
The group could not work together and could not share decisions or responsibilities as was expected.
Timing
Excellent
The video clips are well edited and do not show slack time. The video is 5 or 8 minutes long and cultivates the viewers' attention.
Good
The video clips are sometimes edited but need improvements to remove slack time. The video is less than 3 minutes or more than 8 or 10 minutes long and have some interesting scenes.
Fair
The video is too short (2M )or too long (12M) and there is too much slack time from the beginning to the end. The video is very boring because the scenes are not connected.
Poor
The video has several serious mistakes related to time, scenes connection, and format.
Readable
Excellent
Captions provide readability (font size, grammar, punctuation and color contrast), and each caption line appears on the screen in accordance with the audio.
Good
Sometimes it is easy to read the captions. Font size, grammar, puntuation and color contrast are acceptable. Usually, each caption line appears in corcondance with the audio.
Fair
Captions are hard to read, either for poor font choice, too much content, or too short a time on the screen.
Poor
No captioning was provided.
