Sequencing a Story.

Students sequence events of a story through writing them when given sentence choices. Students use story as reference tool. Learning Standard ELA Grade 8 Writing: students will read, write, listen, and speak for information and understanding.

Product	Exceptional Student correctly sequenced 5 events that occurred in the story when given 6 sentence choices. Completed independently and spontaneously.	Good Student correctly sequenced 3 events that occurred in the story independently and spontaneously. Required prompting for sequencing the remaining story events.	Developing Student correctly sequenced 2 events that occurred in the story independently and spontaneously. Required prompting and assistance for sequencing the remaining story events.	Poor Student required prompting and assistance to correctly sequence all of the events that occurred in the story.
