For Women's History Month, the student is to research an important woman in history and then write an essay on this historical figure. This biography includes information on the person's early life, what led them to their chosen career or purpose, what contributions they made to society, interesting or unique facts about the person, and the student's own reflections about the impact that the person and their contributions have on modern times.
