This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student shows participation in class (observable behaviours).

Student attends the DBT Skills Group and is prepared (has DBT Work Book, Homework Completed -all questions/tasks)

Student attends the DBT Skills Group and is mostly prepared ( has DBT Workbook, Homework is not fully completed but tried some questions and did the best they could)
Getting There...

Student attends most of the class ( at least half the amount of time) and
was mostly not prepared ( forgot or misplaced DBT Workbook, or homework, and attempted one or two questions)
Not There Yet

Students attends less than half the class, but is able to rejoin the DBT Skills Group with support and encouragement.

DBT Homework was not attempted, forgot at the program, or misplaced.

Student OCCASIONALLY showed responsibility and respect and acceptance of all learners. Student sometimes showed active listening, but had some difficulty following the conversation and/or lesson.
Not There Yet

Student needed support and guidance to show responsibility and respect and acceptance of all learners and themselves. Student needed regular prompting to listen and was mostly not able to follow the lesson and/or conversation. Student is encouraged to accept support from staff to work on developing these skills.
