Photoshop Photo Clipping Project 
Using Photoshop to produce a composition from a collection of images. More points given for using original photos, but Google Images may be use for part or all of this project. Students apply knowledge of selections, masking, image adjustments, layer blending modes, layer effects, adjustment layers and associated techniques.

Use of original photos was encouraged, but Google Images were acceptable. Photos showed correct & original proportions; Photos were correctly cropped.

The composition reflects an exceptional degree of student creativity in their assignment. Student shows exceptional care in the layout of the images. Student's original photography was utilized. Photos were proportionally corrected; Evidence of thought given to cropping images.
Good / Fairly Proficient (B)

One or two of the elements and images used in the Project reflect student creativity in their assignment. It is obvious that care was taken in the layout of the type and images. Student original photography was not always utilized. Photos were mostly proportionally corrected; Evidence of thought given to cropping most of the images.
Average (C)

One or two elements and images used in the Project were made or customized by the student. Some care was taken in the selection and arrangement of the elements. Some of the student's original photography was used, but did not fit the overall theme well. Some images showed signs of disproportion; Evidence of thought given to cropping some of the images.
Below Average (D)

The student did not really make or customize any of the items in the Project. Elements were inadequate or unstructured. Images were low quality/low resolution. Student used no original photography, & the photos did not suit the theme or fit the composition. More than 50% of the images showed signs of disproportion; Evidence of thought given to cropping less than 50% of the images.

Some of the numbers contained less than 7 images, and/or 3 or four images were repeated in this project. Work was submitted one or two days late.
Below Average (D)

Student missed quite a few criteria. Less than 50% of the numbers contained less than 7 images, and/or more five images were repeated in this project. Work was submitted three days late.
Unsatisfactory (F)

Student did not follow instructions. None of the numbers contained 7 images, and/or more than 10 images were repeated in this project. Work was submitted more than 4 days late.
