	Poor 1 pts	Fair 3 pts	Good 5 pts
Speaking level	Poor Cannot hear the student.	Fair Can hear most of the lines.	Good Voice level is loud and clear enough to be heard easily.
Speaking Expression	Poor Little to no expression used. Seems to be simply reading the part.	Fair Some expression, Shows some understanding of the character and his/her speech inflection.	Good Reads part with much expression. Shows understanding of the character and his/her speech inflection.
Characterization	Poor Student has very little understanding of the character.	Fair Student has a basic understanding of the character, but needs improvement in communicating the character to the audience.	Good Student understands the character and communictates this throughout the audition. Adds to the characterization in a clever or meaningful way.
Interaction w/others	Poor Does not show any interaction or reaction with others in the scene.	Fair Is sometimes involved in the scene and interacts and reacts appropriately some of the time for their character.	Good Is involved in the scene and interacts and reacts appropriately for their character.
