Position =Total Points 15 Notes the nurse/patient ratio. Explains if it meets national standards.	Inadequate Fails to identify position.	Marginal Identifies positon but provides no further information OR information is misleading or inaccurate.	Satisfactory Identifies position and summarizes relevant aspects accurately.
State the Problem Identifies why the ratio is or is not safe. Lists rationale for positions	Inadequate Problem is not clearly identifed. No examples or support given for concern.	Marginal Problem is identified, but not clearly related to the position or examples and support are weak.	Satisfactory Problem well stated. Related to position. Exampes and support validate concern.
State the Evidence Provides evidence to support position	Inadequate No evidence given or evidence incorrect.	Marginal Minimal evidence given, but not clearly linked to problem or does not fully represent position.	Satisfactory Evidence given to support problem as well as position.
State your Solution Offers evidence based solution that would remedy the problem.	Inadequate Solution not provided or is invalid.	Marginal Solution weak or is not linked logically and stylistically with position, problem and evidence. Tangents or digressions present.
