Journal Entry Spiral Rubric 
Students need to have journal entries for every classes in a notebook with journal responses to the questions presented for warm-up. Requirements: Have a spiral journal notebook Have journal entry dated and answered using sentences All stray papers must be stapled or glued into journal spiral in order.

Spiral is not neat and very little care was taken in taking the journal.Lose papers or not all papers are stapled or glued in. Student has to ask for time to staple or glue things in.

All of the journal is very easy to understand. By reading the journal, a student who was not present in class would understand the lesson and/or journal is explained using more than 2 sentences.

only some of the entries are easy to understand and/or not all the journals are written using at least 2 sentences.

hard to understand, sentences are not used, and/or journal is too short or messy to understand
