To help children understand the different types of weather in our area by completing a weather drawing or flip chart and writing about their favorite type of weather.

Followed project directions	Poor Student is missing 3 or 4 of the following: - a completed and clipchart illustration , - written paragraph or - Additional pictures to compliment report	Below Average Student is missing TWO of the following: - a completed graph, - labeled graph, - written paragraph or - Additional illustration to compliment report	Average Student is missing ONE of the following: - a completed flipchart - labeled illustration", - written paragraph or - Additional illustration to compliment report	Excellent Student written out a weather flipchart, labeled a weather illustration, wrote a paragraph,answering all questions, and added additional illustration to compliment their paragraph
Illustration	Poor Students has no illustration	Below Average Students illustration is unreadable and not clearly labeled	Average Student has illustrated the weather however their illustration is not a full representing their choice of season or the season is not clearly labeled	Excellent Student has illustrated the weather for the seasons of their choice & Illustration is clearly labeled
Written report	Poor Student has no written paragraph	Below Average Student has a written report however it is very difficult to read due to neatness or content.	Average Student has answered some of the required questions but not all or their may be grammar, punctuation, and/or spelling mistakes.	Excellent Student has answered all of the required questions and story is in paragraph form using correct grammar, punctuation, and spelling
