Science History Project
	Poor 25 pts	Fair 50 pts	Good 75 pts	Excellent 100 pts
Choose scientist	Poor Did not choose scientist at all and not approved by instructor.	Fair Scientist chosen but not approved by deadline.	Good Scientist not chosen by deadline and approved by instructor.	Excellent Scientist was chosen and approved by instructor before deadline.
Write Paper	Poor No paper.	Fair Poorly written, thrown together the night before. Paper does not flow, several misspelled words and grammatical errors and one question answered.	Good Can tell student spent some time working on paper. Some misspelled words, and some grammatical errors, some of the questions answered	Excellent Well written. Student spent a great deal of time writing paper. Excellent grammar, no misspelled words. Answers all question, how, where , what, why, and, when.
Presentation	Poor No presentation.	Fair Presentation not that organized. Presentor not comfortable speaking in front of the class. Students not engaged at all.	Good Presentation somewhat thought out, but did not flow well. Students were somewhat engaged.	Excellent Oral presentation was well thought out. Spoke clearly and new exactly what they were talking about. Other students were engaged.
Review Questions/Prop	Poor No questions used and no prop utilized at all.	Fair Less than four questions presented after presentation and no prop used	Good Only four questions presented at the end of presentation and prop, displayed.	Excellent Five review questions presented at end of presentation. Prop demonstrated during presentation and explained.
