Attention	Exceptional Student maintained attention throughout the task for task completion.	Good Student maintained attention through most of the the task. Needed minimal redirection for task completion.	Developing Student attended to highly desired objects and topics, but needed redirection to be able to sequence the story.	Poor Student needed constant redirection in order to complete the task.
Product	Exceptional Student independently composes a three sentence response consisting of a an introductory sentence, as well as a middle and ending sentences in response to a book he/she has read.	Good Student writes a two-sentence response to literature with assistance including a beginning sentence and an ending sentence in response to a book he/she has read..	Developing Student correctly sequenced 3 events that occurred in the story with assistance in response to a book he/she has read.	Poor Student required prompting and assistance to correctly sequence all of the events that occurred in the story.
