Organization of Presentation	Expanding Organization of information is effective. The introduction is attention catching and the ending sums up all information. The transitions are well placed and effective.	Consolidating Organization of information is effective. The student has an introduction and conclusion. Transitions are not entirely effective.	Formulating Organization of information is sort of effective. The student has an introduction or conclusion and has several transitions.	Emerging Information is not presented in an organized way. The student has a weak or no introduction and conclusion. The presentation has sloppy or no transitions.
Language	Expanding The student consistently uses appropriate language, has little to no difficulty with word pronunciations.	Consolidating The student for the most part uses appropriate language, and has few to no difficulty with pronunciation.	Formulating The student occasionaly uses appropriate language, and has some problems with word pronunciation.	Emerging The student rarely uses appropriate language, and has many problems with word pronunciation.
Speech	Expanding The student consistently speaks clearly, and at an appropriate pace. The student stutters little and doe not use filler words such as "um" or "like".	Consolidating The student frequently speaks clearly, and at an appropriate pace. The student uses only some fillers.	Formulating The student occasionally speaks clearly,and at an appropriate pace. The student uses fillers.	Emerging The student does not speak clearly, or at an appropriate pace. The student uses lots of filler such.
Communication with Audience	Expanding The student makes consistent eye contact. The student appropriately addresses the audience's questions.	Consolidating The student makes occasional eye contact. The student somewhat appropriately addresses the audience's questions.	Formulating The student makes some eye contact. The student is able to answer a few of the audience's questions.	Emerging The student makes no eye contact. The student is unable to answer the audience's questions.
