Bread Market Activity Participation Participation This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student works and participates during class time when completing an activity. Rubric Code: S2XX85C By bhsteacher Ready to use Public Rubric Subject: History Type: Assessment Grade Levels: 9-12

Rubric Criteria
	Excellent 5 pts	Good 4 pts	Fair 3 pts	Poor 1 pts
Preparation	Excellent Student was PREPARED for class.	Good Student was MOSTLY prepared for class.	Fair Student was MOSTLY NOT prepared for class.	Poor Student was NOT PREPARED for class.
Productivity/On-task	Excellent Student was ON-TASK and worked PRODUCTIVELY. Completed the task at hand.	Good Student was MOSTLY on-task and worked productively. Almost completed the task.	Fair Student was MOSTLY off-task and UNPRODUCTIVE. Did not complete task.	Poor Student was NOT on-task nor productive. Did not complete task.
Level of Engagement	Excellent Student proactively contributed to class by OFFERING ideas and ASKING questions MORE than TWICE during class.	Good Student proactively contributed to class by offering ideas and asking questions ONE to TWO times during class.	Fair Student contributed to class by offering ideas and asking questions ONCE during class.	Poor Student DID NOT contribute to class by offering ideas and asking questions.
Responding	Excellent Student MOSTLY RESPONDED to both the teachers and students' questions, ideas and opinions.	Good Student OFTEN RESPONDED to both the teachers and students' questions, ideas and opinions.	Fair Student RARELY RESPONDED to both the teachers and students' questions, ideas and opinions.	Poor Student NEVER RESPONDED to both the teachers and students' questions, ideas and opinions.
