Media/Technology Presentation 
Create a Media/Technology Presentation on a theme of your choice thinking on authentic scenarios and materials (Refer to Herrell and Jordan: Realia, Strategy #13 and Section VI). Themes vary as to grade level or subject and can elicit new vocabulary, language structure, questioning. Select age/grade level, describe the rationale for the theme, and how it will help to promote and develop proficiency in English or a second language. IMPORTANT: You are not allowed to use Power Point for this presentation. You could use Web 2.0 tools, Prezi, Glogster, SmartBoard, a movie software, etc.

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the future teacher is capable of. Work was rushed and little time was spent on the final product. Work is incomplete.The project lacks a clear understanding of the theme and their are many errors. Project is not creative.

The project demonstrates a level of understanding that exceeds the expectation of this assignment. Adequate use of technology tool (not Power Point).
Good

The student provides a clear presentation of the information. This is in their own words. Adequate use of technology tool (not Power Point).
Fair

There are several confusing moments and the information presented is not completely shared during the presentation. Hesitant use of technology tool (not Power Point).
Poor

The information that is presented lacks many elements of what is expected. Technology tool chosen does not convey the theme correctly.
