Clarity 20%	Poor All communication was awkward and incomprehensible.	Fair Communication was awkward and incomprehensible to understand at times.	Good Communication was awkward at times but always understandable.	Excellent Communication was clear and comprehensible.
Pronunciation 20%	Poor Student's pronunciation was incomprehensible.	Fair Student's pronunciation made understanding difficult.	Good Student's pronunciation was understandable with some error.	Excellent Student's pronunciation was like a native speaker.
Fluency 20%	Poor Student's language froze or he/she was unable to ask or respond to questions.	Fair Student took a long time to communicate, or to ask and respond to questions.	Good Student was able to communicate, and ask & answer questions with little difficulty.	Excellent Student was able to communicate clearly with no difficulty.
Content, Organization & Depth 40%	Poor Speaker showed no knowledge about the topic. Organization and presentation was so confusing that it was not logical and could not be understood.	Fair Speaker showed little knowledge about the topic. Organization and presentation was barely understandable and/or logical.	Good Speaker showed basic knowledge about the topic. Organization and presentation was partially understandable and/or logical.	Excellent Speaker showed deep knowledge about the topic. Organization and presentation was understandable and logical.
