Collaboration Rubric 100 % The instructor will use this rubric to determine whether the process of collaboration meets expectations.
	Above Average 5 pts	Average 4 pts	Below Average 2 pts	Poor 0 pts
Responsibility 25 % The participant takes responsibility by providing suggestions and giving ideas.	Above Average The participant provides key information and contributes ideas related to the newly acquired learning.	Average The participant contributes ideas and provides feedback to their peers.	Below Average Participant provides some ideas, has a rather passive attitude	Poor Participant provides some ideas, has a rather passive attitude
Respect 25 % The participant is respectful of the points of view and abilities of others.	Above Average The participant showed respect for each other's comments, concerns, and questions without hesitation or prejudice.	Average The participant usually showed respect for each other in the collaborative group setting	Below Average The participant needed frequent reminders of how to act in a group setting.	Poor The participant was not respectful at all of each other's participants. The instructor had to moderate and give reminders.
Participation 25 % The participant contributed equally to the group.	Above Average The participant shared his or her viewpoints and information but also allowed and encouraged other members to do so simultaneously.	Average Each team member shared their viewpoint; however, some team members lacked participation OR were not encouraged to share information.	Below Average The team shared their viewpoints, but some members were overly critical or unreceptive to the viewpoints/ information of others.	Poor The participant did not attempt to participate at all.
Content 25 % The participant developed useful information, findings, insights, etc.	Above Average The participant contributed many high-quality, useful information, findings, insights, etc.	Average The participant contributed some high-quality, useful information, findings, insights, etc.	Below Average The participant contributed very little high-quality, useful information, findings, insights, etc. or Contributed low-quality information, etc.	Poor The participant did not contribute any information, findings, insights, etc.
