Student is not able to grasp the audience's attention or declines to present project.
Fair

Student is not able to engage audience to listen to presentation and lacks confidence when speaking. Student is unsure of project. Teacher has to lead student's presentation by asking questions. Presentation lasts less than 3 minutes
Good

Student has a good understanding of the project and its geometric purpose. Engages audience and is confident in presenting topic to class. Student is able to grasp the attention of the classmates through enthusiasm and tonation. Oral presentation lasts between 3-4 minutes.
Excellent

Student has a complete understanding of the project and its geometric purpose. Engages audience and is very confident in presenting topic to class. Student is able to grasp the attention of the classmates through enthusiasm and tonation. Oral presentation lasts between 3-4 minutes
Written Presentation

Poor

Student has not completed a paper and requirements or has paper on notebook paper. Sloppy and unacceptable presentation on paper.
Fair

Student completed a paper that is not typed but fulfills the requirements and has a few grammatical and spelling errors. Student has attempted to "make the connection"
Good

Student completed a typed paper WITHOUT cover sheet; however, has fulfilled the requirements and few errors. Student has "made the connection" as outlined in project.
Excellent

Student completed typed paper WITH cover sheet; fulfilled requirements of paper and little/no grammatical or spelling errors. Student has "made the connection" as outlined in project
Structure--shape

Poor

Structure is incomplete or missing; has not met minimum standards; very poorly constructed
Fair

Student constructed object with little or no effort. Less than 3 Geometric requirements were fulfilled.
Good

Structure has a solid foundation; has not met all five geometric requirements to present to class
Excellent

Structure is solid; all geometric characteristics were met. Student (s) has/have a solid foundation of structure and various concepts.
