Google Slides Rubric 
This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Google Slide presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the Google Slide presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your Google Slide have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

2-3 slides include 1-2 sentences of text and a related picture.
Story is told in a somewhat effective way and lacks organization or complete sentences.
Poor

Many slides missing or less than 1-2 sentences of text and a related picture.
Story is difficult to understand and lacks organization and sentence structure.
Presentation/Graphics

Excellent

Slides are exceptional. Text and pictures are laid out effectively making the slides easy to read and enjoyable to look at. Organization of material is excellent.
Good

Slides are well done. Text and pictures are laid out in a way that makes the text easy to read but lacks some organization.
Fair

Slides are acceptable. Text and pictures lack organization making the slide somewhat difficult to read and understand.
Poor

Slides are poor. Text and pictures have little to no organization making the presentation difficult to understand.
Grammar and Mechanics

Excellent

Capitalization and punctuation are correct throughout the presentation. There are no grammatical errors.
Good

There is less than 2 grammatical error on the presentation.
Fair

There are less than 4 grammatical errors on the presentation.
Poor

There are many grammar or mechanical errors on the presentation.
Use of Class Time

Excellent

Used time well during the class period. Focused on getting the product done. Never distracted others.
Good

Used time well during the class period. Usually focused on getting the project done and never distracted others.
Fair

Used some of the class time well during the class period. There was some focus on getting the project done but occasionally distracted others.
Poor

Did not use class time to focus on project OR distracted others. Reminders were given.
