Rocks and Minerals Project Rocks and Minerals Brochure and PowerPoint The students will put together a brochure and prepare a PowerPoint presentation. The brochure will contain information regarding the three types of rocks and the rock cycle. The students presentation must be aligned with the brochure. Style/Mechanics	Excellent -The slideshow is creative, and is not just a list of facts. -The slideshow is presented in a dynamic and concise manner with full understanding of the subject.	Good -The Slideshow is clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. -Good clear presentation.	Fair -The slideshow has some pictures however they are not relevant to the content. -Some mistakes are made. -Little organization and clarity is used. -There is little style and reads more like a list of facts rather than a brochure.	Poor -The slideshow lacks neatness and clarity -Brochure lacks style and -Information and pictures are not related to the topic.
Work effort	Excellent -The work was done well, to the best of the students ability. -The students stayed on task. Fair -The information presented is not cleary displayed throughout the project	Poor -The information was unclear and not related to the topic.
