My Pyramid Alphabet Book Rubric Alphabet Research Rubric You will choose 15 letters from the alphabet. Draw each letter of the alphabet with a food that represents the first letter. (Example: Z=Zucchini) On the back of your letter sheet, you will record your nutrition facts as per example. At the end of the project, you'll have an alphabet scrapbook with lots of information. Food Letter Illustrations	Beginning Includes the name of all the food.	Developing Includes the all the names of the foods with a few illustrations.	Meeting Expectations Includes the almost all the names of the foods with somehwhat sharp illustrations .	Exceeds Expectations Includes the names of all the foods with very sharp, detailed illustrations.
Colors	Beginning Includes one color on more 7 letters or less.	Developing Includes two colors on 10 letter or less.	Meeting Expectations Includes three colors on 13 or less.	Exceeds Expectations Includes four or more colors on all 15 letters and is very detailed.
Letters/Word	Beginning Letters and words are not in the correct place on page and only have one color on 7 or less.	Developing Letters and words are not in the correct place on page and two colors on 10 or less.	Meeting Expectations Letters and words are in correct place on the page--with three colors on 13 or less.	Exceeds Expectations All letters and words are in correct place on page with all four colors and are very neat.
Nutrition Facts	Beginning Nutrition facts are not included on 7 or less words.	Developing Nutrition facts are included on 10 or less words..	Meeting Expectations Nutrition facts are included on 13 or less words.	Exceeds Expectations Includes the nutrition facts on all 15 words and is neat and very detailed.
Front cover/Neatness	Beginning Did not write name on book. Does not have a Title for their book and did not include hour/day. Did not write neatly on my assignment.	Developing Forgot name, hour/day or did not give their book a Title. Some of my writing is neat, some is not.	Meeting Expectations Put two of three (name, Title, day/hour) on front of book. Most of my work is neat, and includes hand-drawn pictures that fit on the page.	Exceeds Expectations Has all information included on front of book. Work and handwriting is neatly done. I have included nicely drawn pictures that are colored and that fit on the page.
