Glossary Creation Glossary Project You will create a glossary that will contain words or new words that you will see during this course. The purpose of the glossary is that you enrich your lexicon with vocabulary seen in this class and reading that you will be exploring during this time. QUANTITY OF WORDS	Poor Student submitted 7 or less words by week homework was incomplete and the few words that were defined were inaccurate	Fair Student submitted 8 words per week most definitions were inaccurately defined, and/or multiple spelling errors.	Good Student submitted a 9 words per week most definitions were accurately written with no spelling mistakes.	Excellent Student submitted 10 words per week and all words were accurately spelled showing mastery.
QUALITY OF DEFINITIONS	Poor Definition is inaccurate, and/or not understandable.	Fair Definition is accurate and understandable.	Good Definition is accurate, understandable and provides and example.	Excellent Definition is accurate; understandable; provides an example; and an analysis of the effectiveness, conflicting opinions or controversy around the subject.
PARTS OF SPEECH	Poor Identification of the 7 or less correct parts of speech per week in definitions listed in the glossary.	Fair Identification of the 8 correct parts of speech per week in definitions listed in the glossary.	Good Identification of the 9 correct parts of speech per week in definitions listed in the glossary.	Excellent Identification of the part of speech correctly in all words listed in the glossary, showing investigation and comprehension.
