Class Newspaper - Journalism 3rd Quarter Exam 
As a class you will create 4 major sections of a newspaper. You will be placed in groups of 5. Each groups will work on a section of the paper in its entirety. The four sections that will be included in our Newspaper will be, News, Sports, Entertainment, and Opinion. They will present their section of the paper as a group.

Student is very creative and the Newspaper was very well thought out. They wrote interesting and captivating stories with beautiful photos. Advertisements were unique and artistic.

Student is creative and the Newspaper was somewhat thought out. The stories were good and the photos included were interesting. Advertisements looked great and contained some thought.

Student is creative but rushed the Newspaper to get it done. The photos and stories are not well thought out but okay. Advertisements are not original, borrowed from others.

The newspaper does not seem to be well thought out. The stories and photos are bland. The work is rushed and shows little to no creativity.

The newspaper layout is neat, organized, uses all of the space and fits perfectly into the paper provided. All aspects are attached squarely and look great.

The newspaper layout is acceptable but not neat. The layout is rushed and not square, parts of it are not fitting into the paper. Looks okay but not good.

The group works fluently and well together with every single member contributing 100% of the time, The Editor-in-Chief keeps the group on task and helping one another out during the process. The group exemplifies organization and creativity together.

The group works well together with all members contributing most of the time. The Editor-in-Chief keeps the group on task for the most part and they work well together during the process. The group is organized and creative.

The group has some issues working together. Some team members do not contribute all of the time to the project. The Editor-in-Chief struggles to keep them focused and wanting to work together to be successful. The group is not always organized, and may be slow to get going each day.
Needs Improvement

The group does not get along and has problems staying focused and on task. They fall behind on a daily basis due to the lack of leadership from the Editor-in-Chief. They are not organized and they miss deadlines.
