To assess student's performance in following expectations for in class behavior.

	Consistently 3 pts	Sometimes 2 pts	Rarely 1 pts
Engagement	Consistently Student completed the assignments and was not a distraction to other students working around him/her.	Sometimes Student completed the assignments, but needed some redirection from the teacher.	Rarely Student worked on the assignment, but needed frequent redirection from the teacher. Or student did not complete work.
Participation	Consistently Student was constantly active and participated in the activity for all or most of class time.	Sometimes Student participated in the activity for 80% or more of class time.	Rarely Student was slow to participate in the activity. Only participated 50% or less of class time.
Social Interaction	Consistently Student followed directions and rules for the entire class time. Student shared his/her creative ideas and encouraged other students.	Sometimes Student followed directions and rules for the majority of class. He/she did not argue with others concerning the task, and when asked, assisted other students.	Rarely Student did not follow directions and rules. Student argued with classmates or teacher concerning the task. Did not assist other students.
Communication	Consistently Student's noise level was not an issue. No warnings were given. Student also reminded others to maintain acceptable volume.	Sometimes When warnings were given regarding noise level being too loud, student responded positively. Student was given one or two warnings.	Rarely Many warnings were given to student concerning noise level, but student did not correct.
Following Directions	Consistently Student followed all directions using a creative and thoughtful approach. When confused, student re-read the directions in order to understand the task.	Sometimes Student completely followed all directions. When confused, student asked teacher for help in understanding the task.	Rarely Student followed the directions, but only minimally. Student did not consistently follow the directions.
Materials and Preparedness	Consistently Student always has necessary materials, arrives on time and goes directly to his/her seat.	Sometimes Student usually has necessary materials, arrives on time and goes directly to his/her seat.	Rarely Student frequently forgets necessary materials, arrives on late, and/or does not go directly to his/her seat.
