PUNCTUALITY	Excellent Student is on time regularly or early for class.	Good Student is usually on time or early	Poor Student is often late
LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT AND BEHAVIOR	Excellent Student brings original thought and perspective to discussion. Maintains active involvement throughout semester.	Good Student sometimes asks questions, and participates in discussions.	Poor Student never participates in class, does not participate in discussions. Comments, when offered, are often uninformed and rely on personal taste.
PREPARATION	Excellent Student is always prepared for class with assignments and has clearly read the assigned materials.	Good Student is usually prepared for class with assignments and required materials, possibly attempting to submit some materials late.	Poor Student is almost always unprepared for class with assignments and required materials, possibly attempting to submit some materials late.
