Above Average Student exhibits that he/she has spent time in planning his/her response before writing. This can be seen clearly in their response.	Average Student exhibits that he/she has spent some time in planning his/her response before writing. This can be seen clearly in their response.	Below Average Student exhibits that he/she has spent little to no time in planning his/her response before writing . This can be seen clearly in their response.	Poor/Unacceptable Student exhibits that he/she has spent no time at all in planning his/her response before writing. This can be seen clearly in their response.
Organization	Excellent There is ADVANCED organization of the essay. It is very clear and concise and very easy to follow.	Above Average The essay is organized.
