Prepared for class	Proficient Student is always ready for class and did not need reminding. Has no tardies to class.	Independent Student needs prompting occasionally to prepare for class. Is not tardy to class.	Emerging Student prepares for class right away but has 1 to 2 tardies per week.	Instructional Student is not ready when class begins. Has 3 or more tardies per week.
Use time well in class	Proficient Returns to task when given large group cue Asks for help when needed Work completed accurately and on time.	Independent Occasionally needs reminding to return to task. Work takes a little longer to complete than necessary. Independent Locker is somewhat disorganized, loose papers may be present or observed in textbooks.	Emerging Locker is disorganized, loose papers are present or observed in textbooks.	Instructional Locker lacks little to any evidence of an organization system.
