Labeling	Excellent X and y axes are labeled correctly and scaling is perfect for requirments of the assignment.	Good Student label the axis correctly, but the scale is incomplete, incorrect or inadequate for the task at hand.	Fair Student does not label axis/axes correctly and/or scaling in completely unacceptable.	Poor There are no lables or scaling.
Chart to Graph Transfering Chart information accurately to graph.	Excellent Student accurately transfers all of the chart information to the graph.	Good Student's transfer of the information from the chart, but some data points are not graphed accuratly.	Fair Student's transfer of the information from the chart to the graph is incomplete or incorrect.	Poor There is no information on chart.
Basic Instructions Connect the dots and use correct graphing symbols.	Excellent Student follow all directions accurately.	Good Student fails to follow instructions. For example, data points are not connected OR correct graphing symbols are not used.	Fair Student fails to follow instructions. For example Data points are not connected AND correct graphing symbols are not used.	Poor There is no graph.
Interpretation of Data	Excellent Student is able to interpret the graphed infromation without error.	Good Student is able to answer most questions relating to the graphed data with moderate understanding.	Fair Student is able to answer questions relating to the graphed data with moderate understanding.	Poor Student is unable to use graphing data in answering questions
