Personal Identity Reflection
Reflection on Racial & Ethnic Identity Awareness
This assignment asks you to describe what it feels like to "walk in two or more worlds" at once. Using the illustration of Arnold/Junior on pg. 57 for reference, create your own identity portrait that illustrates ethnic, cultural, geographic, etc differences within yourself. For example, you may show competing personal characteristics such as "half obedient child" and "half rebellious child."
