Similes will contain "like or "as". Both sentences will begin with a capital, end with a punctuation mark, and makes sense.

Student has to repeatedly asked to work quietly, or stay in their seat.
Fair

Student partially completes work and is working quietly at desk 75% of the time.

Student completes work quietly at desk not desturbing any other students and is willing to help others when needed.
