Design 20 pts Drawing of specifications of your roller coaster. Step by step procedure of creating your design.	WOW - Exceeds Design is completely done. Shows excellent workmanship. The directions were clear & complete.	Got It - Good Design is mostly done. Directions are done missing a few components. Most of the design is accurate and neatly written.	Met Grade Level - Fair Little of the design is clear, not written completed.	Not Yet - Poor No design on the project.
Mathematical evidence 20 pts Need to be able to prove with mathematics that the coaster will clear the loop.	WOW - Exceeds The work done demonstrates full effort that the learner is proud of. The effort that was put into this task is the best it can be by the learner.	Got It - Good The work was done with good effort that shows what the learner is capable of. It is evident that time was put into this project.	Met Grade Level - Fair Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed.	Not Yet - Poor Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and work is incomplete.
Style/Creativity 20 pts Original thought used to create roller coaster. Work was not copied from another source.	WOW - Exceeds The project has an element of creativity and style.	Got It - Good The project is somewhat creative with the appearance of using specifications from a manual or video.	Met Grade Level - Fair The project lacks style and creativity. Could had looked up your project and seen it done online.	Not Yet - Poor The project is not creative. No thought was put into being original.
Attractiveness 20 pts Be able to create your roller coaster where someone would feel safe wanting to ride it if was full scale.	WOW - Exceeds The project is exceptionally attractive in terms of design, layout and neatness.	Got It - Good The project is attractive in terms of design, layout and neatness.	Met Grade Level - Fair The project is acceptably attractive, though it may be a bit messy.	Not Yet - Poor The project is distractingly messy or poorly designed.
Test 20 pts With the use of the given coaster car, did it navigate the roller coaster as planned.	WOW - Exceeds Coaster car completed entire course and loop.	Got It - Good Coaster car completed loop and almost the entire course.	Met Grade Level - Fair Coaster car almost completed loop and did not complete the entire course.	Not Yet - Poor Coaster car did not make it to the loop and entire course.
