Presentation/Lesson rubric 
The students will put together a presentation or develop a rap/song to show during their oral presentation. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding their assigned Biology Topic. The group oral presentation must include a presentation or pre-recorded video of your song. Students must printout or email the lyrics to the song a week before their assigned presentation date.

A - Excellent

The presentation includes all information relevant to the topic in an organized fashion. Key terms were used during the presentation.
B - Good

The presentation includes all relevant information; however, is not as well-organized as it could have been.
C - Fair

Does not have all of the relevant information in the presentation. There is not enough information presented. Information is presented in an unorganized fashion.
D - Poor

The presentation is lacking in elements required. There are many gaps in information presented.
Work quality/effort

A - Excellent

The work done exceeds all expectations and shows that presenters are proud of their work. It is evident that time was put into making the lesson highly interactive and engaging for learners. All materials needed for the presentation was present such as the lyrics, video, or costume (if applicable).
B - Good

The work was done with good effort that shows what presenters are capable of. It is evident that time was put into making the lesson interactive and engaging for learners.
C - Fair

Work is done with fair effort, but the quality is still not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed, incomplete, only somewhat engaging to learners.
D - Poor

Work is done with little effort, quality is not what the learner is capable of. It is evident that the work was rushed and/or little time was spent on the final product. Presentation was generally unengaging to learners.
Style/Mechanics

A - Excellent

The lesson / presentation has an element of creativity and style, and is not just a list of facts. The electronic presentation is presented in a clear and concise manner with full understanding of the subject.
B - Good

The lesson / presentation is clear and logical and contains facts as well as very few mistakes. Good clear oral presentation.
C - Fair

The lesson / presentation lacks style and reads more like a list of facts than a support for an oral presentation. The presentation lacks neatness and clarity.
D - Poor

The visuals lack a clear understanding of the subject matter and there are many errors. Lesson / presentation is not creative.
Presentation

A - Excellent

The students present the information clearly and display a complete understanding of their information. It is evident that ALL presenters were well prepared.
B - Good

The students present the information fairly clearly and displays a reasonable understanding of their information.
C - Fair

The information presented is not cleary displayed throughout the project and/or some presenters are unclear.
D - Poor

Not enough preparation was done for the presentation of the information, it therefore lacks many elements of what is expected.
