Takes responsibility and works independently to meet deadlines. Student uses their skills to create a product that is unique and well put together and completed to a high standard.
Meets Standards

Works well and mostly uses class time wisely. Work is completed to a good standard. Original ideas, but needs improvement on preparation of the product.
Partially Meets Standard

Does not use class time wisely. Work is partially finished and standard lacks quality and originality. Put together with a lack of creativity.
Does Not Meet Standard

Class time was not used responsibly and project is late and/or unfinished. Standard of work is low. Product is not original. Product was rushed with poor preparation.

Expresses ideas confidently and creatively in many ways. Communicates ideas with enthusiasm, proper voice projection, non verbal cues, appropriate language and clear delivery.
Meets Standards

Adequate preparation and delivery. Communicates ideas with good voice projection, non verbal cues and uses appropriate language.
Partially Meets Standard

Some difficulty communicating ideas, due to voice projection, lack of preparation or incomplete work. Spoke less than they sould have.
Does Not Meet Standard

Great difficulty communicating ideas. Poor voice projection. Little preparation or incomplete work. Spoke very little.

Exceeds Standard

Can identify in conversation with the teacher and peers what strategies they can take to improve their oral communication skills.
Meets Standards

Can identify in conversation with the teacher and peers minimal strategies they can take to improve their oral communication skills.
Partially Meets Standard

Difficulty in identifying areas to improve their oral communication skills.
Does Not Meet Standard

Great difficulty in identifying areas to improve their oral communication skills.
