Reading Fluency
	Mastery 4 pts	Developing 3 pts	Emerging 2 pts	Inception/beginning 1 pts
Expression/ Volume	Mastery Reader sounds like natural speaking. Listener is interested reader applies reading styles ; Questions , exclamation, negating etc. Reader has great volume and is easily understood by all.	Developing The readers volume is good and easily audible. Evokes some interest in the listener Reader sometimes applies reading styles. Reader may be a little quiet but easily audible.	Emerging The readers volume is inappropriate, either too loud or too soft. Evokes little interest in the listener. Reader sometimes applies reading styles. The reader is trying though not very successful	Inception/beginning Reader does not sound like natural speaker, Reader is too quiet. Reader does not apply reading styles. Listener is bored.
Punctuation	Mastery Reader pays attention to punctuation, pausing and stopping at appropriate places. Reader has perfect pronunciation in all letters, and applies fluency in sentences	Developing Reader pays some attention to punctuation,occasionally stopping and pausing at inappropriate places. Reader has few pronunciation difficulties and seldom makes mistakes in the pronunciation of words and in the fluency of sentences	Emerging Reader pays little attention to punctuation, stopping and pausing at inappropriate places.
