Native American Dwellings 
Students have to replicate by building a model of a North American Indian dwelling using materials that are authentic in representation (looks like the materials they would have used) and the structure is landscaped (the "ground" looks like the environment in which the house would have been found). Must include a label with: 1. Student name and class 2. Name of tribe and region 3. Name of dwelling 4. Brief Description of dwelling including materials they would have used to build it.

The student can easily (without notes) describe the home and materials and discuss how the climate, resources and lifestyle influenced the tribe's choice of home.
