Integration	Exceptional Provided exceptional and thought provoking analysis.	Good Analysis was adequate but not thought provoking.	Fair No independent analysis.	Substandard Offered no analysis.
Organization & Structure	Exceptional - Conclusions are supported by the body of the paper.	Good - Introduction previews major points. - Paragraph transitions are logical. - Conclusions are supported in part by the body of the paper.	Fair - Structure of the paper is clear. - Conclusions are not supported by the body of the paper.	Substandard - Structure detracts from the message of the writer. - Introduction and/or conclusion is missing. - Paragraphs are disjointed and lack transition of thoughts.
Journal	Exceptional Clear connections to journal. An organized journal is handed in with the final paper.	Good Clear connections to journal. A haphazard journal is handed in with the paper.
