Your journal is not much related to the scene. Writing lacks insight and understanding of your character's feelings. Writing is a reflection of the novel not the character.

Your journal is not related to the required topic. You did not understand or communicate ideas in writing clearly. Writing lacks insight and understanding of your character.
Conventions

Meeting Standard

Journal is legible, neat, and gramatically correct with few spelling errors.
Approaching Standard

Some grammatical errors are apparent, the are about 10 spelling errors writing is difficult to read.
Beginning Standard

Many grammatical errors. There are more than 10 spelling errors.
Not meeting Standard

Journal is poorly written. Multiple grammatical errors and spelling errors makes reading difficult.
