	Poor Students did not meet the criteria, or they did not present the material. 3 pts	Fair Students presented the criteria, but it was unprepared or off the cuff. There was no organization to the portion. 5 pts	Good Criteria was met, and seemed organized. There were some minor issues. 8 pts	Excellent All criteria was met. Well organized. Above and beyond. No minor issues. 10 pts
Product Decisions	Poor The idea was not agreed upon in a timely manner.	Fair There was some agreement on the topic/product.	Good Not everyone was excited about the topic/product, but pulled the presentation together.	Excellent Everyone agreed upon the idea and seemed excited about it.
Product Realism	Poor This product will never make it.	Fair This product has a small chance.	Good 50-50 chance of success for this product.	Excellent This product is viable and the sharks think it will sell.
Group Dynamics	Poor Non of the students in the group were working during designated time.	Fair One or two students was working on the project while the rest were off task.	Good Everyone had a task and knew what everyone else was supposed to do, but did not coordinate enough to make the presentation seem prepared.	Excellent Everyone worked in a positive way with one another. Effort was made to consider the whole group and everyone's opinions.

Excellent The business plan was turned in prior to the presentation and was completed. The team followed the plan.
Presentation	Poor One person carried the whole project. Clearly, there were people who did not know what was going to happen, or had not been included in the project. No one spoke for 3 minutes.	Fair One or two people clearly did most of the presentation planning and did the presentation. Some spoke for 3 minutes.	Good Everyone played a part, but there were only one or two visual aids and people seemed to be without a clear job during the presentation. Some people spoke for 3 minutes.	Excellent Everyone played a part. Visual aids, presentation segments, and group participation is clearly seen. All members spoke for 3 minutes.
Rhetoric Skills	Poor The presentation was off the cuff and disjointed. Effort was not taken to make the presentation comfortable for all members of the team.	Fair No real elements of pathos, ethos, logos were incorporated. Minimal eye contact, voice and pitch control were used.	Good Some elements of pathos, ethos, logos were incorporated. Some effective eye contact, voice, pitch, and effective audience evaluation were in the presentation.	Excellent Pathos, ethos, logos elements were incorporated. Eye contact, voice, pitch, and effective audience evaluation were evident in the presentation.

Excellent There was a comprehensive financing portion that was fully explained and was exceptional. The audience bought the idea easily.
Target Audience	Poor This product will only appeal to 10% of the population.	Fair This product will only appeal to 20-40% of the population.	Good This product will appeal to 50%+ of the population.	Excellent This product will appeal to all ages and people.
Marketing/Advertising/Distribution	Poor No mention of marketing, advertising, or product distribution was included in the business plan.	Fair Some marketing/advertising/distribution was included in the business plan but did not fit the business, was unorganized, was not explained, was very limited, and had many errors.	Good The marketing/advertising/distribution was included and explained but had some errors.	Excellent There was a comprehensive analysis of marketing, advertising, and product distribution was fully explained and was exceptional.
Question/Answer	Poor Students did not participate in the Q/A.	Fair Students seemed unorganized or were not taking this portion seriously.	Good Students answered questions with limited error.	Excellent Students eloquently answered the questions that they were presented with.
