Completeness Development of the math problems from lessons 1.1 to 1.	Warning Work is very incomplete. Student often failed to read and follow the directions of the assignments, and did not complete or make corrections when we reviewed the answers whole-class.	Needs Improvement Work is somewhat complete. Student has not read and followed some directions, or has not answered several of the mathematical problems. Student made limited corrections when we reviewed the answers whole-class.	Proficient Work is almost entirely complete. Student has read directions but may have failed to answer few of the mathematical problems . Student added more information when we corrected whole- class.	Advanced Work is entirely complete. Student clearly read and followed directions consistently complete the majority of the mathematical problems, and correct when necessary during whole-class review of answers.
Content Understanding	Warning Student's work contains very few pertinent details, missing almost all relevant mathematical problems. Response is minimal. Little, if any, answers are not given on time.	Needs Improvement Student's work contains only some pertinent details, missing several relevant problems answers, concepts, and points. Some work is included in responses to support answers.	Proficient Student's work contains most pertinent details, missing only minor corrections. Work is included in responses to support answers.	Advanced Student's work contains all pertinent details, demonstrating full understanding of the mathematical procedures, concepts, and points. Clear procedure/work is consistently used to support answers.
Skill Mastery	Warning Student has not demonstrated the skills being presented independently, but has made an effort to participate during guided practice.	Needs Improvement Student has not fully demonstrated the skills being presented, but the work completed shows some basic understanding of how to use the skills independently.	Proficient Student has successfully demonstrated the skills being presented, although not consistently.	Advanced Student has successfully and consistently demonstrated the skills being presented in the workbook.
Readability	Warning Work is very sloppy and difficult to read. Student didn't show any interest in complete the tasks.	Needs Improvement Work is occasionally written in a neat and readable fashion.	Proficient Work is generally written in a neat and readable fashion.	Advanced Work is written in a completely neat and readable fashion.
