Plasma Membrane Model Plasma Membrane Model Students must create a 3-D model of the plasma membrane in cooperative groups. Students must create a poster with a drawing of the plasma membrane and all of its structures labeled. The poster must contain an explanation of the structures and functions of the plasma membrane. Good Generally accurate representation of plasma membrane	WOW!! Highly accurate representation of plasma membrane structure and function. Shows excellent understanding.
Creativity and Artistic Appeal	Unacceptable Absense of creative design.	Needs Work Little or no creativity seen in design. Problems with planning and organization. Poor use of materials.	Good Shows some creativity in design. Use of materials/methods shows satisfactory planning and organization.	WOW!! Innovative use of materials/method that shows excellent planning, organization and hard work.
Clarity	Unacceptable No clarity in representation. Materials do not represent structure or function of plasma membrane.	Needs Work Confusion in representation. Use of materials does not show a parallel with the structure and function of plasma membrane.	Good Generally clear representation, good use of materials to show structure and function of plasma membrane.	WOW!! Representation is extremely clear, materials used metaphorically represent structure and function of plasma membrane.
